Famous People I've Never Met (EP)

Four tracks – one from each of Nick’s Self Possessed back catalogue – which tell fictitious stories about real historical figures. The Loneliest Ghost In Pere Lachaise, taken from his 2005 Choice Music Prize-nominated Running Dog (“A poet’s soulful challenge to the fates…tidily precise and perfect” – Evening Herald), has as its protragonist the only ghost in that famous Parisian graveyard who doesn’t get invited to the glamorous spectral cocktail parties where “Oscar lusts after the young Lizard King” and “Lesseps bores poor Hausmann with his wretched canals”.
