Senor My Friend was released in February 2003. The Irish Times has called it 'an idiosyncratic gem' and 'a rare thing: a genuine cult classic'. Mongrel magazine called it 'one of the lost classics of Irish indie pop' and called Mumblin' Deaf Ro 'a bone fide cult hero'. Ollie O'Leary of Cluas.com listed it as one of his top 5 Irish albums of all time.
