True Grit / Math / Nothing

These are some tunes Ben and I made back before Demo Tape. Some of the bars on True Grit are a bit cheezy and I wrote it before I'd gotten out of my braggy rapper phase (also before I really learned much about word play). (still got some awesome lines, "killing all the crocs in yonkers"? C'mon. - B) The two reworks here were me (Ben) getting some practice in before we started work on demo tape. I realised I hadn't made a beat for anyone but Moke and that I could probably learn a bit from working with some a cappellas. Stuff I learned: Mos Def is awesome. The Roots are awesome. Knowing where words go in a bar is important.
