Featuring the fiddle playing of Mossie Martin and John Blake on piano and guitar. With guest musicians Áine Martin on harp, Brendan Martin on fiddle and banjo and Tom Martin on mouth organ. My father often remarked “It’s no good looking like you’re in the dentist’s chair when you’re playing music.” I can’t think of a better example of music being enjoyed by the player himself than Mossie Martin. Every sinew of his being, he infectiously shares with his audience and with his fellow musicians. The glint in his eye, a wry smile or the movement of his body as he caresses the fiddle communicates a total love and enjoyment of the given tune.
