You Are Not Made Of Sugar - Miúin Selection Vol. 2, 2025

You Are Not Made Of Sugar was a sound art exhibition in Summer 2025 by Andrey Chugunov and Bobby Jewell. Responding to a report by Dr Andrew Hoolachan titled 'Living with Rain: Planning for Everyday Life' the installation used sound to engage with people on how they live, move, dress and feel about this type of weather in Glasgow, the UK’s rainiest city. There's an uneasy relationship at play, with rain highlighting faults in the city’s infrastructure, affecting moods and behavior, forcing you to order one-more round or reel off some naff jokes. But it’s a reality of Glasgow and this new-normal of extreme weather is something that needs to be faced and understood.
