Voice of the Ancients

"Voice of the Ancients" was born from a rather simple yet inspiring lead sound I created on the Moog Grandmother, the first few notes I played on the keys with this sound became the foundation of the track. The sound is played in two separate audio elements, the second part has the higher octave improv lead part which I chopped up and placed at various points. As these parts looped around I could hear a human voice accompanying these synth parts in my head. I grabbed my portable zoom recorder and with my headphones I tried my best to perform some vocal textures along with what I had already played.
