Its been a while since have worked on or released a long form ambient track/album. There have been some longish pieces that featured on some recent releases but none have been over forty minutes! In early November I began to experiment with some patches I had created on my beloved Prophet Rev2, one in particular had a rather expansive sonic depth with super low bases when certain filter envelopes were tweaked. This sound is performed as the opening passage and continues as the main foundation of the piece, played polyphonically were the low, mid & high keys are utilised which results in rumbling lows, pleasant mids and at times searing highs.
