Senescence

"Senescence" was born from a recent beautiful autumn day. This year the changing colour of the leaves has been a little slower than usual, perhaps due to a milder September & October. As I walked in my local park a week ago I was surprised by a lot of wild flowers still blooming yet a lonely fallen leaf was on the narrow pathway, I took a picture, the striking colours against the aged and broken path inspired me. Later that day I was compelled to play some keys, I improvised for about five minutes or so using the Native instruments "Maverick" Piano instrument. I added some subtle delays and FX and layered a Rhodes at an octave higher to add a little more tonal depth.
