Its a beautiful weekend in late August 2020, I'm trying to relax with some quiet peaceful music after a busy week at work. My neighbours have other plans, to continue working on their new back garden patio, so the sound of a con-saw cutting through concrete has now become the soundtrack to this beautiful August weekend. Not to let it ruin my weekend I decided to record the sounds emanating from the ongoing construction site with my zoom H1, I figured it may come in useful at some point. A few days later, all is quiet and I decide to import and listen to the grinding and cutting of concrete.
