Anemoi

I've always had something of a phobia with the wind, particularly when winds reach storm force and you can hear and feel things shifting by its power, yet of course a light breeze on a warm day is welcome and pleasant. Living in Ireland we regularly have Atlantic storms that cover Ireland particularly through the autumn months & during these I find it hard to relax and sleep at night as my sensory sensitivity anxiety begins to to take hold. So, the inspiration for this album came about sort of unexpectedly with the opening track "Boreas" and its wind like sweeping tones & somewhat dark & foreboding aesthetic.
