Amen Forms

The concept for "Amen Forms" came about while I was compiling tracks for another possible "Orphaned Tracks" volume. I came across a piece I had been working on way back in 2017 "The Forgotten Trail" The track already had a sort of breakbeat feel with some programmed drums but I felt an additional break beat mashed up would bring additional dynamics, I added the classic Amen break sample and played around with the track some more, I was kind of inspired and began to think of how versatile and how many styles this hugely influential drum loop had adapted to so well over the many decades of electronic music.
