Altostratus

"Altostratus" was written in spring of 2023. The initial idea came about when I was experimenting with the FM synthesis capabilities of my Novation Supernova II, although its one of the oldest synths in my arsenal, this is an area of the synth which I haven't explored all that much. I ended up with a pretty basic yet classic sounding FM bass and played a longish improvised/shifting bass-line that kind of carries the track along throughout its duration. The other elements came together quickly with some sounds edited and played from my Prophet Rev 2.
