Triptych 1

Triptych 1 is the first of a Trilogy of releases, each comprising of three long-form improvisational guitar pieces, each made up of three distinct sections recorded live in the North-West of Ireland, Summer, 2021. The aim was to perform the pieces in one go - no overdubs, nothing pre-planned. Recorded in late Summer evenings as the sun went down, the pieces were born from a kind of meditation. Exploring the sensation of getting lost in sound. Allowing yourself to linger in a moment and in no way rushing to the inevitable end. Utilising software to loop, twist and manipulate the guitar's signal in real time creating lush, organic soundscapes with a digital twist.
