Nephoscope

Following 2021’s “Triptych” series of releases, “Nephoscope” is the new full length LP by Mat Warren. The album is inspired by the ever-evolving vistas that occur above our heads. Ten sound journeys representing the ten major cloud types invite the listener to spend some time cloud observing, to simply look up. The pieces that make up “Nephoscope”, all stem from short improvisations and happy accidents recorded between August 2021 and August 2022 – a full year of observations and their audio interpretation/counterpart.
