In July of 2023, I took on a songwriting challenge that involved writing a song or idea for a song every day of the month. I was inspired by 'June' by Japanese Breakfast, in which she did this same challenge in order to come up with new material and improve her songwriting skills. This challenge was very... well... challenging (smart), but I ended up really enjoying the time when I was completely concentrated on getting the songs done. Some of them are not precisely masterpieces, but here is a list of the ones I liked the most: Days 1, 3, 8, 11, 12, 17, 20, 27, 29 I hope you enjoy this album, not as an album but as an experiment and a way to track my progress.
