Various Audio Sources Vol. I

Various Audio Sources Vol. I is a collection of compositions based around multiple field recordings captured by Ingrid Bakken and Mark Waldron-Hyden independently and together. Both interested in using naturally occurring sounds as a basis for musical composition and how one can inform the other. Digitally manipulated recordings became the basis for each song and synthesizers, guitars, keyboards were added in a series of improvisational recording sessions; weaving these field recordings together into something that isn't always "music" and equally isn't always "just" field recordings.
