I've been a massive fan of The Killers since I was 12! After seeing them live twice on their last tour, one thing stuck in my head. They have a song called Jenny Was A Friend of Mine and in the live version, Brandon Flowers sings a short part near the beginning and in the middle of the song (www.youtube.com/watch?v=aa1WsA509Yc). The first part of the melody he sings stayed in my head and I was able to think of my own melody using it. Since the main melody was completely inspired from Jenny Was A Friend of Mine, I decided to make my song based on The Killers' track!
