Songs I've Carried With Me

Pieces of music learned, played, forgotten, re-learned, re-interpreted, again and again for 20 years. May they bring you some of the same comfort they brought me as you carry them with you. I gave each of the pieces in this album a name - sometimes a loose translation to english of their true title, but often an abstract name that I think will be more memorable to a general audience than Opus X Number Y The names also evoke the feelings and images I see in my head as I listen and play these pieces to inspire my choices of volume, speed, texture, and variation.
