For this album I was inspired by Buddy Holly, The Hallelujah Chicken Run Band and De Frank & the Professionals. I wanted to make something short, snappy, plucky, funky and fun. Most of the songs were written very quickly, in the space of about half an hour. And then the production was fussed over and messed about with for months and months and months. Thanks to Sean Flaherty, Thomas Forshaw and Sam Kavanagh for giving me feedback and to Aoife Moore for taking the cover photo.
