Analog Four Sessions Vol. 1

Analog Four Sessions Vol. 1 was made entirely with the Elektron Analog Four MKII (4-voice analog synthesizer). No external instruments or effects were used. Each track was performed live in 1 take and recorded to a stereo track. This method of recording makes the music feel very alive to me. Performance mainly involves sculpting the sounds live through synthesis and effects mapped to the performance controls of the Analog Four, and adding drum/percussion/synth fills. There is an element of improvisation as every time I perform/record a track I make different choices, which lead me somewhere different sonically.
