Madu's "From the Elders' yard" is the first album release on Salim's label Upfull Records. Songs written individually or as a collaborative process by the music driven siblings brings diversity to their thought provoking tunes. Salim’s years as a producer with his strong affinity for reggae music and skills as an electronic composer are the basis on which he builds the unique Madu sound. His productions intertwine with Aminah’s soulful melodies, her experience over the years singing jazz, blues, folk and roots music, combine to create a dynamic sound.
