I decided to sit down and write this at the exact moment that it sunk in that this record is coming out. It’s 7pm-ish on the 21st of December 2025. I realised a few days ago that we are a stone’s throw from the second half of the decade and this thing is still sitting on the shelf. If you know me personally and you’re reading this you probably know this story inside out already but in case you don’t, here it is: The earliest “file created” date I can find for a song on this record is 2021 but I have been working on it since 2019.
