in January 2012 Los Gringos Union approached Duncan O Cleirigh at Blackwater Studios with a cassette tape of songs that they had recorded between 1985 and 1988 with the notion of transferring them to a CD. The tape had literally been left in an attic for 24 years , and charts the bands earliest ventures in the studio. Salute ! Retro is the compilation of these recordings....
