Sam Brown is a UNC Chapel Hill composition graduate who works within a variety of realms, everything from left-field hip-hop beats to orchestral composition. Last year we put out his debut album "Yellow Cake", an album which saw him float between Zappa-esque acid rock jams to brooding experimental electronic slow burners. This new release "Wheel Of Fortune" is primarily a sprawling electronic double album, featuring lots of influences ranging from Hindustani music from his time spent studying in India to Moog-heavy electronic artists. For fans of Aphex Twin, Four Tet and Mort Gason. LLR-122
