Sam Phillips is a downtempo/ambient musician based in the heart of Washington DC. Stay The Night is his first full length, filled with dense soundscapes full of lush synths, vibrant drums, fluctuating melodies and tight vocal samples. Over the sprawling 17 tracks of this album, it is divided, the first 9 being downtempo/electronic music and the remaining 8 being of the lo-fi ambient and drone persuasion. Stay The Night showcases Sam's ability as a producer and musician, through variance and eclecticism, truly something to be revisited over and over again.
