The Night Wars is Chapel Hill, NC multi-instrumentalist Nate Wagner (Also of An Occasion For Balloons) and Second Places is his debut release with Little League Records. Exploring the dense scapes of electronic music and playing with influnces such as shoegaze, mid-90s emo, and ambient post rock. The Night Wars elegantly creates a densely orchestrated EP with a mixed palette of electronic music. Throughout Second Places, Nate combines lush fluctuating synth melodies with deeply constructed backing combining his love for the ambient textures of shoegaze with electronic principles.
