it's raining in your room

drolle is the moniker of Garrett B., who comes from Montana. Keeping with drolle's series of themed releases, "it's raining in your room" came from the concept of a release based around rain samples. Each of the 5 tracks is centred around rain samples and sounds. The rain samples add a certain air of wonder to the release, contrasting with atmospheric and bright, flowing synth melodies, with tiny nudges of warped percussion behind, giving a nice subtle rhythm to the free form melodies. The chopped and screwed samples add colour and substance. in his own words - "These are the sounds of sitting alone in your bedroom late at night, rain dripping down just outside your window.
