Do My Thing E.p

The Do My Thing EP was our third release. The Idea behind the title track was inspired by my general attitude towards life, live and let live. When I first heard the beat I wrote the chorus then and there. The song allowed me to step out of the battle rhymes style and into broader more conceptual song writing. It was the beginning of style experimentation that still drives my writing to this day. The beats were each so inspiringly different. With a unique approach from each producer it really helped me expand as a lyricist and pushed me to adapt my tone of voice and delivery to the musical environment. I would say to my self "Never turn down a beat, adapt to it".Still do.
