The Ink Trap

Recorded in the first half of 2016, 'The Ink Trap' was created at Shaw's parents home in his teenage bedroom. The recording sessions saw the conception of over 20 tracks which were then paired down. Much of the production tries to emulate the red neons and mirrors of the late bar with I Wanna Booth, The Ballerina's Magic Domino and Komodo Dragon in particular alluding to weekends lost in a world spinning with "lava jelly loops" and "cubicles of laughter".
