Soisín (2009)

Soisín (meaning 'pure heart gentle mind' in Japanese) was the title given to an Irish woman who had travelled to Japan to study Zen Buddism, but at the age of 27 with her life ahead of her she was knocked down by a bus on holidays in Thailand. With her teachings from her book in mind the idea with this album was to record a collection of soft and slow pieces that you could have a moment to oneself, perhaps to bathe to or to consider a loss. The melldies had been in the background awaiting their time to shine.
