Saudadity is a play on the term 'Saudade' which can be found in use in Galicia, Portugal, Brazil and other Galician/Portuguese speaking cultures. I was first introduced to the term at a conference in Lugo, Galicia on Celestino Fernández de la Vega Pardo's work on humour and philosophy.
