When she first came to Ireland a decade ago, Kanako was heavily influenced by accordion music that she heard in the various sessions around Galway city, and began learning the button accordion on her own. She now resides in Co. Galway with her family, and can be seen in the vibrant session scene in and around the Galway city area. Brian McGrath comes from Brookeborough, Co.
