Sitting Pretty

Recorded in 2003, Sitting Pretty is a 3-song time capsule from Jacqui O'Malley’s former band, The Names. For over two decades, these tracks lived quietly on old CDs and dusty hard drives—a private collection of memories from a beautiful chapter of music-making. This digital release officially unlocks the archive, bringing the music online for the very first time. Musically, the EP captures the early foundations of Jacqui's sound: a warm, nostalgic blend of acoustic folk-pop melodies and organic storytelling. It is an easy-listening, bittersweet look back that perfectly sets the stage for her upcoming debut solo material arriving in early 2027. Dedicated to the memory of our drummer Alex.
