The Space Between - Score

The Space Between is an original score created to infuse with the dystopian exploration of dance artist, Kathleen Doherty. While a more conventional approach to scoring the unearthing of dystopian themed trauma might call for heavy sound design and extensive use of electronics, Woulfe's focus on the guitar, piano and related instruments, as well as his use of space and minimalistic orchestration, allow the emotional depth of the characters to shine in a compelling and rewarding way. It’s a visceral, immersive journey into the fragile space between trauma and healing — where silence holds meaning, and movement speaks louder than words.
