How The Dust Falls

This recording is dedicated to all of those who are suffering unbearable oppression while seeking peace. This is the second release from the duo of Izumi Kimura & Gerry Hemingway. Continuing the unique approach displayed on their debut "Kairos", this recording explores a further refinement of their shared interest in exploring formal structure with completely improvised material. It is patient work and experimentation that over time eventually arrives at a number of the destinations presented on this recording. The more spontaneous creations naturally benefit from the rigor of the more formal expeditions.
