Community of Existence

Inspired by the prescient words and ideas of the late, self-named ‘geologian’ Thomas Berry, Community of Existence uses a 2006 video interview by the British creator Caroline Webb as the basis for three evocative tracks by artists based in Ireland. Taking in a variety of styles and sounds, the three pieces cut across techno, halftime drum & bass, post-rock and modular setups and sounds. The result is three atmospheric, environment-themed pieces that sit somewhere between the organic and digital realms. The Invisible Being label saw one release at the end of last year: ‘Outset’ by Binary Undertakers. The latest sees some old friends join the roster.
