'Across A Skyline' was developed for Alternating Current's 2025 'Urban Scores' theme in response to the academic writing of Elena Biserna Through a slow rotation of scenes, this work explores alienation in an urban environment with a sonic palette of hostile architecture Statement of process: Rather than following the tradition of soundwalking, where one is encouraged to actively and mindfully observe their sonic environment, this piece presents a staged listening through a series of scenes composed around the emotions of traversing a city - a place that has become exclusive to economic privilege at the expense of culture and the people that live there.
