A Good Year For Sandwich Toasters

During the summer of 2013, we had taken residence in a beautiful little 200 year old church in Co. Meath. It was the perfect base for a band of our size, and gave us breathing space to practice and get tight for a fairly hectic summer of gigging. Come September, things were dying down and we were in good shape after getting pretty tight for a slot at the Electric Picnic at the end of August. So O’Leary, Cluck and Brian locked themselves in St. Columba’s church for 3 days, recording live takes of 17 songs. No click tracks were used and only 3 takes were done of each song, to keep everything sounding as live as possible.
