Half Known Things

Paul: This album was very much informed by playing shows with the first one, feeling what was connecting and creating those euphoric collective moments and what wasn’t. With that record, we were sending each other parts that we recorded in our respective bunkers. This time we had the luxury of being in the same room for some of it, and making decisions in the moment. Like the rowers who won gold by for years always asking “Will it make the boat go faster??”, we would ask “Will it make the people move??”. Kindof… But yes, feel and groove are paramount! And also heat.
