Darren Rice 'M9' incl. Donnacha Costello Remix

The first outing of Irish label Heavy Reel sees one half of the HR mainframe Darren Rice set the tone with his "M9" Track. The original is a moody, bass-driven track with subversive synth stabs leading to a massive drop, bigger than the housing prices in actual fact and designed to hit the floor smack in the face. Holy sub-harmonics Batman! The first remix comes courtesy of one of minimal techno's finest exponents and purveyor of real thinking man's techno Donnacha Costello. True to form Donnacha dissects the original and works around the lead delivering a track which is deeper and more stripped back but maintaining an insistent groove.
