3 Songs

3 Songs is the second “illicit crate” of music made by Matthew Corrigan for the Ghostking is Dead project since his release of Fever Dreaming in February 2020, each with its own unique sonic identity. Following the manic CONSORTIUM, 3 Songs is the complete opposite; Corrigan, his guitar, and essentially nothing else. The songwriting shines in the dimmer light; some of his most direct work, reckoning with his reflection not just in the harmonies and production but in the stories he's telling from both sides of the mirror.
