This is Ger's 9th studio album in the last 22 or so years. Recorded between the two Covid lockdowns in Ireland, Ger returns to the simple format of earlier albums like 'Word and Rhyme' and 'No Bird Sang' with more 'well crafted vignettes of beautiful song' (Irish Times). Produced and engineered by newcomer Amhlaíobh Mc Sweeney there are some gorgeous songs here , including the opener 'Hello Gorgeous' commissioned in the spring by Music Network which set the spark that resulted in this collection.
