아발론 의 조곡 (The Avalon Suite)

While living in Incheon, Korea I taught English to children in a hagwon (private after-school academy) I was often struck by the bizarre, stilted English in some of the dialogues on the CDs we used for listening comprehension. The slowed staccato American accents with all nuance removed for clarity sounded like text to speech software. The kids in my class loved Spongebob so they were delighted to hear that one of the voices sounds exactly like Squidworth whom they only had only heard dubbed in Korean. The sample used in the first track 'Little Laurie" sounded to me like an inquisitive young Laurie Anderson learning the ways of the world.
