Music of Terraforming Vol. 1

This project explores the sonification of planetary terraforming through the development and performance of a custom built expanded instrument system (EIS) - “Pyramid of Sound Terraformer”. Built during my masters course in Experimental Sound Practice, the instrument takes the form of a handmade tetrahedral pyramid construction. Inside there's an Arduino microcontroller and a range of sensors that respond to gestures and environmental interaction.. The result is a performance instrument that functions as both an interactive performance instrument and a conceptual art piece.
