On recent releases Jon Collin has taken to the woods, mostly near his adoptive home of Stockholm, playing amid the sounds of birdsong and waterfalls. Meanwhile, those who've caught him live in a dank basement somewhere will attest to the time-altering spaciousness and immersiveness of his electric playing. Both tendencies are reflected on this, his second FEF tape. The first side captures an indoor live set in Prague. The second was recorded in the courtyard of The Wilhelmsburg fortress in Ulm, with Collin's guitar accompanying a thunderstorm.
