Treadwater Fury

Treadwater Fury was set to be a very different record before a close relative the artist looked up to died in Autumn 2024. This turned him and the album on its head. What immediately followed, unwittingly, was a period of wild electronic experimentation, improvisation and noise – some of which still haunts corners of the eventual release, some that might rear its ugly head at a later date. But, as H worked through feelings, he began to retreat into a more organic, acoustic space – speaking to a simpler, but no less darkened, period of family life – and no small amount of guilt for having been so distant emotionally and geographically for so long.
