The Point

S ' ,,, ' G is the new improvisational duo of Newcastle-based artists Odie Ji Ghast (aka Greta Buitkute, also of BAD@MATHS, Historically Fucked) and SW1n-Hunter (aka Adam Denton of TOPH, Trans/Human). The Point is a headlong stumble through a dusty miscellany of sonic clutter that variously whirrs, clatters, flutters and hums, occasionally coalescing into ambivalent loops and untenable rhythms. Meanwhile Odie Ji Ghast follows this trajectory with a ceaseless stream of vocalisation that includes, but is not restricted to, feral croaking, childlike humming and detached narration. We go outside to listen to the birds, but there are flies out there too.
