Moose Terrific is Montreal-based experimental electronic duo formed in 2016, comprising Sam Shalabi (of Shalabi Effect, The Dwarfs of East Agouza, Land Of Kush among countless others) and Tamara Filyavich (also a member of the duo Tamayugé with Maya Kuroki). These skilled yet playful modular improvisations are informed by the musicians' respective Egyptian and Ukrainian roots, along with various post punk, psychedelic and early electronic influences. They liken the results to the effect of a moose jumping in front of a car on a Canadian highway.
