The Cube of Unknowing’s fifth FEF release takes us further afield than the preceding ‘Galway Tetralogy”. Seen Through Cirrus is a collaboration with fellow Berlin-dweller Adam Flint, a poet from North London whose work has been published by Richard Skelton's Corbel Stone Press. Here Flint’s precisely sculpted texts evoke a sense of violent enchantment, and are embedded in a series of pulsing, haunted sound worlds. These four lengthy tracks reflect the pair’s shared interests in psycho-geography, science fiction, UFOlogy and alchemy, and culminate to create an aura of cryptic menace and the pastoral uncanny.
