Satan

Satan is a thematic sequel to the French artist's 2021 Ideologic Organ LP, Luciferis. While sharing its instrumental predecessor's minimalist, gothic drama and black / doom metal-tinged atmosphere, Satan strongly features Golem Mecanique's mournful ecclesiastical vocals, set against Thomas Bel's guitar (on The False Prophet) and her own dissonant, ascending hurdy gurdy drones (on The Beast From the Sea). "Satan is a vision. Satan is an eternal fall. Cast out of heaven, he is no longer Lucifer, God’s favourite. He is an empty soul, devoured by despair and wrath. He is something else: the ghost of an ancient god, a faceless creature, wandering dark places, fed by black magic.
